We provide access to 2 databases that contain consumer buying habits and marketing information.

Choices III

  • Contains data from a national consumer survey on demographic and psychographic characteristics. Excellent source for consumer buying and media habits. Significant flexibility in cross-matching different elements of the survey.

MediaMark Internet Reporter

  • A competitor to Choices III, contains similar information in a more pre-packaged format.

Proceedings & Dissertations

Conducting research can also mean looking at research that has not yet been published.  2 sources of relevant information are conference proceedings and dissertations.

Web of Science Proceedings

  • References proceedings’ papers delivered at prestigious international scientific and technology conferences

Directory of Published Proceedings

  • Directory contains information on published conference proceedings from a variety of subject areas.  Does not contain full-text;provides the opportunity to purchase the proceedings, warning they can be expensive.

Dissertations & Theses

  • Dissertations from US and international universities

Web of Science

Web of Science is a citation index database.  It allows you to see what articles have been cited by any given article as well as what more recent articles have cited a given article.  Thus the process of research can be viewed over time by reviewing what articles cited other articles.
